Each year the Chile Los Lagos District NYI, is pleased to organize the annual district camp. This year was it was held at the Camp Los Robles, a very comfortable and practical place for all activities. This year youth from Temuco, tillage, and Lanco and Padre Las Casas participated bringing an attendance of 32 youth.

We also had the McKeith family, missionaries, who gave plenary sessions and workshops, as well as being Camp Advisors with Sister Natalia Vargas and Juan Fabra. We also had the support of District Superintendent Rev. Fr. Alfredo Veloso G. and pastors from different congregations, Pastor Francis Julian Montoya (tillage) and Edmundo Lopez (Las Casas).

We also thank God for our important guests, bands we invited to lead our worship, Reggae Kyrios and South Flow. The theme of camp this year was “Overdose of Love” in order that young people understand that God loves us so much that love abounds in our lives, and it is our responsibility to share that love with our neighbor.

To meet this purpose youth were divided into four groups, each headed by a counselor, who shared a morning devotional together and participated in various competitions. The groups of teens also participated in the workshops, plenary and special recreational worship moments.

We had three special nights, Welcome Night, Friends Night, and Red Carpet Night, in which God poured out blessings and joy in our hearts. This camp was packed with athletic, Bible Quizzing, Performing Arts (drama, choreography and music), competitions and service.

We thank God for the enthusiasm that each youth and their friends showed, for their teamwork, behavior and disposition. We are confident that the seeds God planted in the hearts of these young people will bear great fruit in their lives.
